Never put FOG into a digester

Putting raw trap waste or even dewatered FOG into a digester risks clogs, scum blankets or grease balls which can degrade a digester’s operations. Putting unprocessed FOG in a digester also takes days to digest and can create spikes in biogas production. With the FOG Energy System, these problems are avoided with the patented biological process which ensures that FOG Waste is cleanly transformed into an easy-to-digest material which can’t clog or disrupt your digester.

The process begins with our FOG Receiving Module, a clog-free and automated approach to offloading. The Receiving Module performs critical functions required for the success of any FOG program, and is the interface your hauler partners and operations staff will have with the FOG Energy System.

Automated Hauler
Interface
The FOG Energy System has a secure card reader interface and fully automated offloading and cleaning
cycles to make it hauler friendly. There is minimal training required, and the system is designed to be
ATM simple.
Computerized
Process Controls
The FOG Energy System has three modes of operation that are orchestrated by automated process
controls - Offloading, Processing and Digester Introduction modes. Process controls and sensors insure
that FOG is properly processed on receipt to increase bio-availability and then introduced at the best rate
for your digester and inbound FOG volumes.
Clog-Free
Offloading Process
FOG is notoriously sticky and difficult to handle, but the FOG Energy System has operated for over 3
years without ever having a clog or requiring a pipe to be cleaned.
Rock and
Debris Separation
Rocks, utensils, and other unexpected debris are the norm in FOG waste receiving. The FOG Energy
System separates out this solid debris to protect the system and your digesters.
Volume tracking
and accounting
The FOG Energy system allows for granular reporting of loads with time stamp and authentication data for
later auditing or accounting.
FOG Challenge
FOG Challenge

With 12 to 16 pounds of FOG waste per person each year, FOG is a growing problem.

Instead of disposal, FOG can be used to power our communities and reduce greenhouse emissions.
